Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike Projects

Welcome to the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike Widening from Southwest 184th Street (Eureka Drive) to south of Southwest 88th Street (Kendall Drive) project website. This project is currently under final design and is being developed to accommodate the future needs for capacity and safety improvements for the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821) between Eureka Drive to south of Kendall Drive. The project consists of reconstruction and widening the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike including reconfiguration of the interchange ramps at SR 874 and SW 117th Avenue. The widening varies from 8 to 12 future travel lanes. Major bridge and stormwater drainage improvements will also be included as part of this project.
